LONDON — The British Fashion Awards will take place on Nov. 23 at the London Coliseum, and the nominees have been announced.
J.W. Anderson has been nominated in both the women’s wear and men’s wear designer categories. The label joins fellow candidates Christopher Kane and Victoria Beckham in women’s wear and E. Tautz and Tom Ford in men’s wear.
Charlotte Olympia, Sophia Webster and Tabitha Simmons will compete for the accessory award.
Alexander McQueen, Anya Hindmarch, Burberry and Stella McCartney are up for the brand prize, while Céline, Burberry and Givenchy will compete for the creative campaign award.
In the emerging women’s wear category, Faustine Steinmetz, Molly Goddard and Thomas Tait are all contenders while Astrid Andersen, Grace Wales Bonner and Mr. Hare are up for the emerging men’s wear accolade.
Additional awards on the night will be bestowed upon emerging accessories designer; new establishment designer; establishment designer; red carpet, and model. The British Fashion Council will also award its BFC outstanding achievement, British style international designer and the Isabella Blow award for fashion creator on the night.
Headline sponsors include Swarovski, MAC, Toni & Guy, Marks & Spencer, Mercedes-Benz and St. Martins Lane Hotel. The BFC’s judging panel was comprised of more than 800 fashion industry figures.
