NEW AT MAGLI: Bruno Magli has tapped Gabriella Di Carlo as its new commercial director, a role which was held by the brand’s chief executive officer Armin Mueller. Di Carlo, who previously worked for several companies, including Fendi, Bottega Veneta, Gianni Versace and Roberto Cavalli, will help relaunch the accessories brand, developing its distribution network worldwide.

Founded in Bologna by Bruno Magli in 1936, the company, which hired footwear designer Max Kibardin as creative director in 2011, is currently owned by British investment fund Fortelus Capital, which acquired the brand in 2007.
