Calvin Klein’s Independent Filmmaker Project Party Returning to Cannes

A fitting lineup of partygoers is on tap for Thursday’s event.

CALVIN’S STARS: Recent Cannes Film Festival tradition will continue this month when Calvin Klein Collection and Euphoria Calvin Klein host an Independent Filmmaker Project party at the festival. The event celebrates the partnership of the brand with IFP, which supports women in independent film. Since 2011, Euphoria Calvin Klein has awarded a grant to an alumnus of IFP’s Independent Filmmaker Labs.

A fitting lineup of partygoers is on tap for Thursday’s event. Nicole Kidman, Rooney Mara, Carey Mulligan, Naomie Harris and director Lynne Ramsay all plan to attend this year, the company said Thursday. The party, cohosted by IFP’s Joana Vicente and Calvin Klein Collection designer Francisco Costa, will be held at L’Ecrin.
