Pierre Cardin Launches Futuristic Sunglasses

Space Age designer has created futuristic shades made of molded plastic.

X-RAY SPECS: Pierre Cardin has come up with a surefire way of getting noticed at the beach this summer: The Space Age designer is launching a limited-edition line of futuristic sunglasses made of molded plastic. The shades, manufactured by Safilo Group, come in seven colors, including patriotic blue, white and red, and will retail for 300 euros, or $395 at current exchange. They will be available at Cardin’s flagship store in Paris and other select locations.
