Santina was prepped out on Thursday afternoon. Haspel took over the Meatpacking hot spot to celebrate the seersucker, which the brand invented in 1909. Laurie Haspel, fourth-generation owner of the men’s wear label, toasted friends of the brand — Carson Kressley, Eric Rutherford and others — all in their loaned blue-and-white-best. “Haspel popularized the seersucker suit,” Haspel said. “But thanks to the editors, stylists and influencers who have come today, seersucker continues to evolve and look chic as ever.”
