BOOK JACKET: Karl Lagerfeld keeps rolling out the projects. Chanel has released details and an image from Lagerfeld’s forthcoming photo book, “The Little Black Jacket,” in which he and editor Carine Roitfeld pay tribute to the classic Chanel cardiganlike jacket by depicting it on a range of personalities. Sarah Jessica Parker transforms one into a headdress, while Vanessa Paradis and Alice Dellal sport one in their personal style. Gabrielle Chanel created her iconic jacket in the Fifties, and Lagerfeld has interpreted it in each of his collections since 1983.

The book, published by Steidl, will be unveiled as part of a series of events Chanel is staging in Tokyo next month. These include an exhibition of the photos slated to run from March 24 to April 15.
