Alberto Jelmini Exiting Moda In

The executive, who is also Rosita Missoni’s brother and ceo of T&J Vestor, will retain his title of vice president of the trade fair.

CHANGE AT MODA IN: Alberto Jelmini is stepping down as president of Moda In, a position he has held since 2006. Moda In is part of Italy’s textile and accessories trade fair Milano Unica, which Jelmini helped to create and which is run by Sitex SpA. “These were great years in spite of it all,” Jelmini stated. “These were years of both international and national economic and financial difficulties, but also years of new, constructive ideas, of strategies to support the Italian and European textile and accessories industry, of steps in the dark in a new world that is constantly evolving.”

Jelmini, who is also Rosita Missoni’s brother and chief executive of T&J Vestor, which produces the Missoni Home line, will still be involved with Moda In as vice president.
