HAIR RAISING: Christie Brinkley’s voluminous blonde locks will soon be attainable by the masses. On Thursday morning, HairUWear, the wigs and extensions accessory line, presented its latest collaboration, Hair2Wear Christie Brinkley Collection, at Park Avenue Autumn in New York. More than a year ago, Brinkley was approached by Michael Napolitano, president of HairUWear, to partner on a collection of 10 wigs and nine hairpieces. “We wanted someone with a really heavy impact on fashion,” said Napolitano. Clad in Lanvin, the 59-year-old model chatted about the partnership and upcoming projects. “It started when I was doing ‘Chicago’ [the musical],” said Brinkley. “I thought it would be fun to leave the theater in a wig and it would be convenient and I wouldn’t keep people waiting. I had so much fun with the products, I thought why should I keep this all to myself.”

Besides working on her new hair line, she’s creating a vegan skin-care range, advocating for Save the Elephants and filming guest appearances on “Parks and Recreation.” According to Brinkley, her TV partner, Jim O’Heir, is the best husband she’s ever had.
