Cle de Peau Beauté Hosts Charity Luncheon

The beauty brand held a luncheon to benefit The Henry Street Settlement and introduce its fall launches.

FOR A CAUSE: Cle de Peau Beauté, Annelise Peterson and Lucia Peroni, creative director of Cle de Peau Beauté, held a luncheon to benefit The Henry Street Settlement and introduce the beauty brand’s fall launches on the Rooftop at The Refinery Hotel on Tuesday.

“Cle de Peau is for women founded by women and so is Henry Street,” said Peterson. “Art, women, beauty.”

While Peterson didn’t attend Monday night’s CFDA awards, she took notice of Rihanna’s barely there ensemble via the Internet.

“That body, right?” she said.

Heidi Manheimer, chief executive officer of Shiseido Cosmetics America, shared why the two came together. “[Cle de Peau] is a very special brand and what we share with the Henry Street Settlement is a huge appreciation of the arts,” said Manheimer. “It seemed like a very natural fit to all come together.”

The all-female crowd included Hannah Bronfman, Meredith Melling, China Chow, Alexis Stoudemire and Kimberly Ovitz.
