COLETTE’S COACH: Parisian shoppers will get first dibs on Stuart Vevers’ first collection for Coach. The brand’s fall ready-to-wear offerings will make their debut at Colette beginning on Monday, almost two months before any other retailer. “I was really impressed by Stuart’s first collection for Coach, [and] the very individual character that he’s created and the mix of utility and luxury,” said Colette founder Sarah Andelman. In addition to a dedicated Coach window, designed by New York creative agency Baron & Baron Inc., the debut will be celebrated with two exclusive bags available in limited-edition styles. The Ryder bag will be done in shearling, while the Dakotah style will be reimagined in amber suede. “It’s a really exciting validation of the design team’s work so far,” added Vevers of the partnership.
