Coin Group Taps Marco Mazzoran

Mazzoran will be the retailer's first men’s fashion director.

JOINING COIN: Italian fashion retailer Coin Group has tapped Marco Mazzoran as its first men’s fashion director. Mazzoran will oversee both the design and the strategic development of the group’s men’s collections, with a major focus on the mass-market OVS label.

“The arrival of Mazzoran will reinforce our men’s business,” said the group’s chief executive officer Stefano Beraldo. “We want to keep increasing the quality of our offering and we are working hard to become the ultimate destination for every man in Italy who doesn’t view high prices as a guarantee of quality and style.”

“Having the chance to develop products combining style, fashion and competitive prices for a big brand as OVS is an exciting challenge for me,” said Mazzoran, who previously worked in the design team of major fashion labels including Giorgio Armani, Jil Sander, Roberto Cavalli, Loro Piana and Calvin Klein. “Our goal is also to expand the product offer in different segments, including streetwear, and satisfy the needs of a more contemporary customer.”

In his role, Mazzoran will also oversee the development of the group’s boys’ collections.
