Rachel Comey Launching E-commerce

The site will feature her collection of women’s and men’s clothing, shoes and accessories.

COMEY STEPS UP WITH E-COMMERCE: Rachel Comey, the downtown New York designer, will launch an e-commerce site this week, featuring her collection of women’s and men’s clothing, shoes and accessories. Recognizing that she’s a little late to the e-commerce party, U.S. shoppers will receive free domestic shipping for the first two weeks, with the promo code “ATLAST.” Comey will also offer exclusive styles, colors and prints that will be produced exclusively for the site. The company recently launched swimwear and has a new bag and accessory offering.

Comey, who sells such stores as Opening Ceremony, Lagarconne.com, Barneys New York and Saks Fifth Avenue, has been in business 11 years, but her Web site, rachelcomey.com, represents the firm’s first comprehensive retail launch. The site’s 24-7 live-stream landing page, launched last September, will continue to showcase special projects, and visitors can participate in flash sales and receive promo codes.
