Reem Acra Launching Contemporary Bridal Line

The made-to-order collection, called Roses by Reem Acra, will be carried exclusively at Nordstrom Wedding Suites.

COMING UP ROSES: Bridal designer and red-carpet favorite Reem Acra will sell a new contemporary made-to-order collection called Roses by Reem Acra exclusively at Nordstrom Wedding Suites, beginning in late June. The designer worked with the Seattle-based department store to reimagine six styles from her main line, which is a frothy concoction of ethereal silhouettes and meticulous beadwork.

To help keep the price points below $4,000 — about half the average price of her signature gowns — Acra used the same template but turned to more affordable fabrics and lighter embellishments. “I had a lot of brides with smaller budgets come to me wanting to wear my dresses. Now I am able to reach more brides,” said Acra, who has dressed Hollywood royalty like Madonna and Angelina Jolie during awards season.

In true perennial fashion, Roses by Ream Acra will continue to bloom each season. Another six gowns, as well as accessories and veils, will be added in November and made available at all 18 Nordstrom Wedding Suites throughout the U.S.
