DAISY CHAIN: British model and DJ Daisy Lowe helped kick start Berlin Fashion Week Monday night with a party at Tommy Hilfiger’s shop in Mitte. Lowe will be hooked up with a camera and microphone for two days, with the action live-streamed to Hilfiger’s digital stand at the Bread & Butter trade fair. Everyone will have a chance to explore Berlin with Lowe while she shops, visits galleries and strolls the streets of this lively city.
“It will be an interesting two days of visiting some of my favorite places in Berlin, such as the Helmut Newton exhibition, shops, bookstores and a place I am curious about called Do You Read Me?” she related.
Lowe said she has not had time to visit any of Berlin’s celebrated nightclubs. “I love anything with a good beat (but) I don’t do house music,” she noted. Lowe DJs at fashion parties in New York, Miami and Tokyo.
According to Hilfiger, the brand’s stand at Bread & Butter is the only one with no clothes, offering a 100 percent virtual and interactive experience.
