Damiani and Cruciani Team for Valentine’s Day

The two brands are introducing a limited-edition collection of macramé lace bracelets — their second collaboration.

ALL FOR LOVE: Following their tie-up in November, Damiani and Cruciani have once again teamed up — and this time to spread the love. In time for St. Valentine’s Day, the two brands are introducing a limited-edition collection of macramé lace bracelets, where silver and tiny diamonds alternate with the universal symbol of love — a string of hearts. A clover-leaf with a silver plaque reading “Cruciani con [with] Damiani,” makes up the closure. Available in 10 colors, ranging from red and mauve to camel, and retailing at 138 euros, or $184 at current exchange, the collection will be carried in Damiani, Cruciani and Rocca boutiques, as well as in selected jewelry and apparel stores.

“We decided to continue the collaboration with Damiani because the first project was a tremendous success, the bracelets were all sold-out even before they were delivered to stores,” said Luca Caprai, Cruciani’s founder and chief executive officer, noting that the company is targeting the American market in particular, and highlighting the performance of its Palm Beach store.

Giorgio Grassi Damiani, vice president of Damiani Group and ceo of Rocca, was equally pleased with the partnership. “It’s a collaboration between two families and two companies that believe in and stand for Made in Italy,” he said, hinting at possible additional collections between the two firms.
