Dan Lawson, British Label 35 Team Up on Line

“The Good Wife” costume designer and the label’s founder and designer Andrea Cecile Cohen are launching the 35-DL collection in the U.S. and the U.K.

35-DL TO DEBUT: “The Good Wife” costume designer Dan Lawson has teamed up with the British brand number 35 to launch a ready-to-wear collection in the U.S. and the U.K. The label’s founder and designer Andrea Cecile Cohen is known for simple, elegant clothing with a twist for professional women. That knack appealed to Lawson who suited up Julianna Margulies’ “Alicia Florrick” character in 35 during the fourth season of the CBS show. The Emmy-nominated Lawson was so in synch with Cohen that they agreed to work together to create 35-DL. They came up with 19 pieces that will retail between $750 and $1,250. Made with Italian fabrics and produced in the U.K., the collection will be sold through high-end department stores and number 35’s online store starting in February.
