Depesha Magazine to Host Russian Fashion Presentation in New York

The event will be held at the Russian Consulate’s East 91st Street townhouse on Feb. 6.

RUSSIAN EXCHANGE: While brand-conscious Russian shoppers both here and abroad are very much top-of-mind with American designers, Russian designers have yet to see the same level of interest. Depesha magazine’s editor-in-chief and publisher Stephan Rabimov is trying to change that by holding the first Russian fashion presentation in New York Feb. 6. The presentation and reception will be held at the Russian Consulate’s East 91st Street townhouse, which was designed by Carrère and Hastings, the design force behind the New York Public Library. Stylist Natalia Sych curated solely black items from 10 Russian designers including Irina Shaposhnikov, Arsenicum’s Dmitry Loginov and Pirosmani’s Jenya Malygina.
