DESIGNER INTERIORS: U.K.-based home goods outfit The Rug Company will offer later this year a collection of rugs, wall-hangings and cushions based on recent Alexander McQueen runway looks. The seven-piece assortment will be based around McQueen creative director Sarah Burton’s spring 2011 “folklore” collection, her first showing at the helm of the house. The two companies had worked together previously to adapt designs of the house founder, the late Alexander McQueen. The bulk of the latest collaboration will be available at The Rug Company starting this fall.
