FLORAL STYLE: Thirty floral, fashion and interior designers transformed 583 Park Avenue in New York today into a floral paradise by creating one-of-a-kind table scapes reflecting this year’s theme, “Couture en Fleur.” Among some of the fashionable concepts are Alexander McQueen’s book, “Savage Beast,” the costumes and performances of Cirque de Soleil and the Twenties fashion era in Paris.

Participating designers in the New York Flower Show, presented by the Horticultural Society of New York, included Richard Mishaan, Laura Clare, Nancy Swiezy, Rachel Cho, Renny & Reed and Fleurs Bella. A public viewing with the designers took place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., followed by a dinner dance.

The gala will honor jewelry designer James Taffin de Givenchy, footwear designer Jack Rogers and designer Lee Anderson of Lee Anderson Couture.
