Diego Della Valle Said Looking to Build Stadium

The entrepreneur wants to build a gym, tennis courts, a state-of-the-art private nursing home and an exclusive hotel at Casette D'Ete.

WHAT A SPORT: The cultural endeavors of Tod’s chief Diego Della Valle don’t end with the restoration of Rome’s Colosseum or the support of Milan’s La Scala theater. The entrepreneur is said to be looking at building a sports center including a stadium, a gym and tennis courts; a state-of-the-art private nursing home, and an exclusive hotel at Casette D’Ete, the Italian town where the luxury firm is based. Della Valle also plans to develop and improve the network of roadways in the area and strengthen its industrial pole, but the multimillion-euro project still needs to be approved by the local political administration. The entrepreneur donated a school in the same area two years ago.
