Social Platform Discoveredd Taps Influencers

Tastemakers in the fashion industry such as Amy Smilovic, Tory Burch and Lorraine Candy will appear in a new “Spotlight” feature.

DISCOVEREDD TAPS INFLUENCERS: Tastemakers in the fashion industry such as Amy Smilovic, Tory Burch, Charlotte Tilbury, Mary Katrantzou and Lorraine Candy have been tapped by social discovery platform Discoveredd to appear in a new “Spotlight” feature. The site officially unveiled the series this week. Each influencer will share their top 10 discoveries of the moment — Burch’s included printed Tabitha Simmons sandals from and the soundtrack from Wes Anderson’s “The Darjeeling Limited” from, and Smilovic’s a pair of Tibi boots from and the book “New York” by Edward Rutherfurd.

Founder and chief executive officer Oliver Walsh believes this activity will drive awareness and recommendations site-wide and ultimately has the capacity to influence customer purchasing behavior and drive sales. “The discoveries they choose to share are limited to 10. This means that the result is a powerfully relevant list of the products and recommendations which inspire them right now,” Walsh said.
