POWER COUPLES: For Fashion’s Night Out, Dolce & Gabbana has plans to bring the passion of Italian cinema to Madison Avenue — quite literally. The brand is setting up an outdoor theater showing reels of passionate moments in Italian films from the Criterion Collection, including “Divorce Italian Style,” “Mamma Roma,” “Senso” and “The Leopard.” Alan Lowe edited the program of clips, which was produced by David Tedeschi.

Speaking of passion, the night also evolves around the brand’s new Passion Duo Lipstick, and Roxanne Lowit will be on hand to take photos of guests, who can freshen up their look at the lipstick bar, or, for men, the special grooming bar. DJ Ruckus and Hannah Bronfman will serve as DJs, while Asher Roth will give a special performance. The night will benefit Pencils of Promise, and the company has at least one more surprise up its sleeve: The party will be hosted by a “surprise celebrity,” and a “star-studded event committee.”
