Dates Set for Marc Jacobs Exhibition at Les Arts Décoratifs

"Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs" will open on March 6, which coincides with Paris Fashion Week.

DOTS AND DASHES: Dates for the “Louis Vuitton Marc Jacobs” exhibition at Les Arts Décoratifs in Paris have been set for March 6 to Sept. 16. That adds a high-profile event to the calendar for Paris Fashion Week, Feb. 28 to March 7, and an occasion to celebrate a long-running collaboration between Marc Jacobs and the French leather goods firm. (As reported, talks to move the American designer to Dior recently came to a halt.)

Meanwhile, rumor has it Jacobs is cooking up another collaboration, this time with dot-crazy Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Jacobs has also collaborated on leather goods with artists Takashi Murakami and Richard Prince. Vuitton officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
