Dries Van Noten Gets Paris Expo

The Belgian designer is to be featured at Les Arts Décoratifs starting in February 2014.

PARIS — Dries Van Noten, who is to parade his latest men’s collection here tonight, is to be the subject of an exhibition at Les Arts Décoratifs.

Pamela Golbin is to curate the show, which is to run from Feb. 28 to Aug. 31 next year, with architecture by Jean-Dominique Secondi.

Les Arts Décoratifs said it invited the Antwerp-based to “illuminate his world and creative vision through use of his collections and those of the museum.”

Known for his love of prints, Van Noten replicated 19th-century prints from the museum’s archives and applied them to some garments in his spring 2014 men’s collection.
