CHINA MOVE: Dsquared is the latest fashion label to set up shop in China. The brand opened its first store on the mainland last week in Shanghai through a partnership with Singapore-based Kwang Sia. The 1,830-square-foot boutique is located in the IFC Mall, a high-end shopping center in the city’s business district of Pudong.
Consistent with Dsquared’s Canadian wilderness-inspired retail concept, the boutique features antler chandeliers and birch trees bark-coved walls.

Dsquared, founded and designed by twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten, will open another boutique this March in Beijing in partnership with the Joyce Group, a retail giant specializing in luxury brands in Asia. The 4,306-square-foot space will be located in Sanlitun Village, a new luxury shopping development.
Dsquared opened a retail location in Hong Kong in 2008, followed by a store in Singapore in 2009. The brand plans to open 15 additional stores across Asia by 2015.
