ARSENAL’S NEW ARMOR: London men’s wear label Duchamp has been named Arsenal football club’s official suit partner. The British brand has designed a mohair suit, which debuted at Arsenal’s recent matches for the English Premier League.
Designed by Duchamp’s creative director Gianni Colarossi, the suit features a one-button single-breasted peak lapel made from Italian wool and mohair. Arsenal’s original crest — worn at the first FA Cup final in 1927 – is affixed on the suit jacket. The ensemble also includes a white cotton twill shirt and merino sweater and a woven silk red tie with Loake shoemakers leather shoes.
Team members and their manager Arsène Wenger will wear the suits during home matches and for the Barclay’s Premier League and UEFA Champions League.
“This is the first collaboration of its kind for Duchamp and we are delighted to be working so closely with Arsenal, who share our philosophy of devotion to innovation and creativity,” Colarossi said.
