Duchess of Cambridge Attends Parade

Royal wears pink Alexander McQueen for official engagement.

PINK PROMISE?: The Duchess of Cambridge is now officially on maternity leave, having attended her final engagement, the annual Trooping the Colour parade in London to mark the Queen’s official birthday on Saturday. Queen Elizabeth’s actual birthday falls on April 21, while this event is traditionally held in June. The duchess donned a pastel pink Alexander McQueen coat and hat, in what could be a nod — or not — to the sex of her baby, which is due in mid-July. She rode in a carriage with the Duchess of Cornwall and Prince Harry, while the Duke of Cambridge rode on horseback in his role as Colonel of theIrish Guards. Other royals in attendance included the Duke of York, Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie, the Earl and Countess of Wessex and Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor.
