Duchess of Cambridge Attends Ring O’ Fire Marathon

The Duke and Duchess made their first public appearance since the birth of Prince George.

LONDON — The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took time off from their new parenting duties to attend the Ring O’ Fire Anglesey Coastal Ultra Marathon in North Wales on Friday. Prince William, who was the starter for the race, sent off 112 runners participating in the three-day, 135-mile foot run across the Anglesey coast. The couple greeted residents, runners and spectators. This marks the first public appearance for the royal couple since the birth of Prince George, who was not present at the event. Kate wore a sage Ralph Lauren Blue Label jacket, a printed Zara blouse and black Paige Denim skinny jeans, with Pied A Terre wedges. Her hair, it was noticed, was not in its usual blow-dried glossy state. The Duke and Duchess are expected to move from their first home on Anglesey island to Kensington Palace in London this fall.
