Richard Chai Creates Tote for eBay Now

The tote features the same blue print that will be part of the designer's upcoming spring show during New York Fashion Week.

EBAY NOW TAPS RICHARD CHAI: EBay wants to bring its local eBay Now shopping service to the fashion world — and in an effort to reach this audience, the marketplace has partnered with Richard Chai. The designer created the Richard Chai for eBay Now tote, featuring the same blue print that will be part of his upcoming spring 2014 collection. On Sept. 5, the first 200 customers to place an order in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens will receive a tote, but come early October, the tote will come free with all orders placed on the platform. EBay Now, which launched last fall, provides product delivery in as little as one hour after a mobile purchase is made in cities like San Francisco, Bay Area Peninsula, San Jose, and New York City and will launch in Chicago in Dallas in the coming months. EBay and Chai will fete the collaboration tonight in New York City with a rooftop cocktail party.
