ERES ONLINE: Luxury lingerie, swimwear and beachwear brand Eres has partnered with Net-a-porter to sell its products worldwide. The first-time collaboration will launch online Friday with swimwear and lingerie from Eres’ spring collection as well as a new Sun Wear line of silk pieces that can take a woman from the beach to a cocktail party, said Olivier Mauny, managing director of Chanel-owned Eres. Assortments will be expanded on the Web site in July with Eres’ fall collection, which will include at-homewear and key cashmere items.
“We decided to enter into a partnership with Net-a-porter because we’ve had a positive experience with them for two-and-a-half years. They cater to luxury customers, are a major player on the Internet, and the way they treat the brands is quite up to the level of Eres,” said Mauny.

Mauny said the online union will allow Eres to grow its business and image in a global market, especially in Asia and North America.
“We don’t have e-commerce in Asia and North America. North America is huge and we have a limited number of boutiques in the U.S. and Canada, and we do not have any boutiques in Asia,” explained Mauny.
He added that key areas in Asia to grow the brand’s presence will be Hong Kong, Mainland China and Taiwan, as well as Japan.
