Rachel Tipograph Exiting Digital Role at Gap

The company's director of global digital and social media is leaving after nearly three years on the job.

EXITING GAP: Rachel Tipograph on Friday is stepping down as Gap Inc.’s director of global digital and social media after nearly three years on the job. “There is no better gig in corporate America than the one I’m saying farewell to at Gap. Because of my time at Gap, I feel ready to pursue my entrepreneurial passions,” she said.

After spending some time traveling, Tipograph plans to resurrect a company she founded in 2007 called Tipo Entertainment. She described Tipo’s mission as designing products “at the intersection of culture and mobile,” and revealed two are already in development: one focused on retail and another on immersive theater.
