ROCKS RETURNING: “Fashion Rocks,” the fashion and music TV special that last aired in 2008, is returning in September with performances by Jennifer Lopez, Duran Duran, Kiss and Miranda Lambert, among others.

Richard Beckman, the former Condé Nast and Fairchild executive who was most responsible for spearheading the special in its initial incarnation, is producing through his Three Lions Entertainment outfit along with Don Mischer Productions. Beckman, the former president of the Condé Nast Media Group and chief executive officer of WWD parent Fairchild, created the Three Lions production company last year after leaving Prometheus Global Media as ceo.

Ryan Seacrest will host live from Barclays Center in Brooklyn this year’s two-hour special, which will air on CBS on Sept. 9. Pitbull, Rita Ora, The Band Perry, Nico & Vinz and Usher are the other scheduled performers.

“Fashion Rocks,” which was first broadcast in 2003, will air live for the first time during New York Fashion Week, Beckman said.
