GETTING CHEEKY: A motley crew of muses peppered the front row of the Yves Saint Laurent show Thursday night, from the stately Catherine Deneuve, the mousy Isabelle Huppert and the austere Kristin Scott Thomas — and stuck among them the porcelain rent-a-celeb Dita Von Teese. Huppert said she’d be off to Cambodia the next day to start filming with Rithy Panh until December. Meanwhile, cheeky French television presenter Mademoiselle Agnès confirmed rumors she dropped her pants to interview John Galliano — who took his runway bow in boxers at Dior earlier in the week. “I thought it would make for a good mirror image,” she said, adding it helped that she had bought a good pair of Eres undies that morning. “Galliano said that I’d upstaged him,” she joked.
KILLER BEATS: The fashion pack is getting ready to blow off some steam at the bash Chloé is throwing Saturday night for its forthcoming signature scent with Coty. The three faces for the fragrance — actresses Chloë Sevigny and Clemence Poesy, plus model Anja Rubik — are expected at the Hotel de la Monnaie bash, jamming to the beat of The Kills.
STAYING ON: According to industry sources, Matteo Marzotto has been confirmed as president of the Valentino fashion brand, under the Valentino Fashion Group umbrella. Following the brouhaha surrounding the sudden exits of Valentino and his business partner, Giancarlo Giammetti, last month after the house was acquired by the Permira private equity firm in May, Marzotto’s role was also in question. But sources said Marzotto apparently is the man who plotted the hiring of Alessandra Facchinetti to replace Valentino. Confirmation he will stay on will come Oct. 16 at VFG’s shareholders meeting.
ROCK ON: Harumi Klossowski de Rola, the daughter of the late artist Balthus, is joining the Place Vendôme crew. At Giambattista Valli on Thursday, she said she’s working on a project with a “major fine jewelry house” to be unveiled in January. Valentino president Matteo Marzotto was also in attendance to “support a good friend.”
FAMILY TIES: Francesca Versace, the 25-year-old daughter of Santo Versace, is making her fashion debut in Paris, having designed a capsule line for the Singapore-based fashion label All Dressed Up. The designer graduated from Central Saint Martins a year ago. “Glamour’s in my blood, isn’t it, but I’m trying to do it my own way,” said Versace, whose line is inspired by the Silk Route. Linen tops with vibrant piping and coral print cotton dresses with hand-woven details are among highlights.

SPICE AS NICE: Forget tracksuits, leopard-print pants and platform shoes: The Spice Girls will be sporting a whole new look come time for their reunion farewell tour, which kicks off in December. “Roberto Cavalli will design all the costumes for the Spice Girls concert,” said Victoria Beckham, who swung by the Roberto Cavalli store opening on the Avenue Montaigne Thursday night. “They are mind-blowing. There is something very special for each of us girls. We worked together and he moved us on from our past look.” Beckham was in town to be shot for the cover of American Elle and also to attend today’s Chanel show. Meanwhile, Arielle Dombasle, who donned looks designed by Cavalli during her Broadway performance, said she was gearing up for her show at the Crazy Horse this December, where Christian Louboutin has also lent his talent to design a pair of shoes for an act during the show.
