A British invasion descended upon New York Tuesday night for the Victorinox sponsored Cinema Society screening of “Brideshead Revisited.”
In place of Hamptons-exiled Manhattanites, a slew of dapper gentlemen types took in the film incarnation of Evelyn Waugh’s classic novel, before heading to the Gramercy Rooftop to help co-stars Hayley Atwell and Matthew Goode celebrate.
Indeed, Goode probably needed a drink to recover from watching himself on screen—for the second time. “It’s hateful,” said the actor, who sat through the entire movie with friends. “It gets longer and longer each time.”
