FOOD PLAY: Dior Beauty hosted a dinner in honor of the 50th anniversary of the brand’s Vernis nail lacquer at New York’s The Hole gallery Thursday night. Julian Schnabel, Charlotte Ronson, Zani Gugelmann, Dani Stahl, Lorenzo Martone, Harley Viera-Newton and more turned out for a celebration of the gallery’s current exhibition, featuring artist Holton Rower, whose 19 enormous pour paintings are something of a psychedelic, geological journey.

“This exhibition looks like the most beautiful makeup palette you’ve ever seen,” said Fabiola Beracasa, the gallery’s seven-and-a-half-month pregnant co-owner and creative director, who coordinated the collaboration with Dior. “It’s all about the color; about the colors blending together. And that’s what makeup is all about as well.”

The real treat, however, was the “live pour” by the artist that took place after dinner. Rower and his assistants took to the floor to create a special piece incorporating color tones from Dior’s line of nail lacquer.
