Karl Lagerfeld Ties Up With Melissa

The designer has signed on for four seasons with the Brazilian maker of colorful jelly shoes.

FOOT TO THE FLOOR: Next up for Karl Lagerfeld is a global partnership with Melissa, the Brazilian maker of colorful jelly shoes. Lagerfeld has signed on for four seasons, with the first capsule collection to be unveiled in March: four styles for fall 2013 retailing.

Tie-ups with such designers as Vivienne Westwood, Gareth Pugh and Jason Wu have already connected Melissa with high fashion.
