FOR A CAUSE: Lauren Bush Lauren turned up at Harrods in London Thursday morning to launch the new collection that her organization Feed Projects has created with DKNY. Called the DKNY x Feed Survival Collection, the capsule line of accessories comprises rain boots, a diaper bag and a tote. “We wanted to do things that women could really get a lot of use out of…and that were really a good hybrid of [Feed and DKNY’s] design aesthetics,” said Bush Lauren, who was clad in a DKNY teal silk shirt and tailored black pants.
The collection launched this week at Harrods and last week at select DKNY stores, Bloomingdale’s and via Net-a-porter. Prices for the line start at $115 for the rain boots and rise to $220 for the tote or diaper bag.

Bush Lauren said she’d just been on a trip to Honduras for the Feed Foundation in May, and plans to visit the African programs that the foundation supports later this year. But she does have some downtime planned between jetting around the world for a good cause. Bush Lauren is set to take in London’s Olympic opening ceremony today (her father-in-law, Ralph Lauren, designed the U.S. team’s uniforms, not without some controversy over where they were made). “We’re going to see them all parade out at the opening ceremony and cheer them on,” said Bush Lauren, who said she’s also looking forward to watching the gymnastics events. After her Olympics jaunt, she’s sticking to home turf. “I’ve just got a few little trips planned, back in America,” she noted of her summer plans.
