Franca Sozzani and More to Fete Venice Film Festival

The L'Uomo Vogue editor-in-chief, as well as Lapo Elkann and Livia Firth, will host a private dinner on Elkann’s M/S Dionea boat.

SAIL ON: Tonight, L’Uomo Vogue editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani, Lapo Elkann and Livia Firth, founder of the “Green Carpet Challenge” initiative, will host a private dinner on Elkann’s M/S Dionea boat to mark the Venice Film Festival. Guests are expected to come from the worlds of art, cinema and fashion, including Colin Firth, Naomi Watts, Marina Abramovic, Laetitia Casta, Valentino’s duo Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, David Chipperfield, Ginevra Elkann, Shala Monroque, and Diesel’s chief Renzo Rosso.


“We always celebrate the Venice International Film Festival and this year we decided to leave the Venetian palaces to create an event in a location more ‘free’ and unusual,” said Sozzani, who during the eventwill present the September issue of L’Uomo Vogue, which is dedicated to the film festival and which features Shia LaBeouf on the cover.
