French Brands Celebrate Icons

Maje and Sandro feature vintage icons Brigitte Bardot and The Doors on T-shirt lines.

IT GIRLS TO ICONS: After collaborating with socialites including Vanessa Traina and Dree Hemingway, French contemporary brands are celebrating vintage icons. Maje has teamed up with the Brigitte Bardot fashion label on five limited-edition T-shirts featuring the sex symbol, to be available in stores on April 1.


Sandro, meanwhile, features Sixties rock band The Doors on a range of men’s T-shirts for its Sandro Homme line. The vintage style tops retail for 65 euros, or $86.50 at current rate of exchange, and depict images of the fabled group, including solo shots of front man Jim Morrison.
