French Vogue Editor Said Heading to Maje

Capucine Safyurtlu is expected to join contemporary brand.

CHAIN GANG: It looks like the Sandro, Maje and Claudie Pierlot chains, which recently tapped Daniel Lalonde as chief executive officer, are beefing up ranks on the creative side, too.


Rumor has it Capucine Safyurtlu, longtime fashion and market editor at French Vogue, is to exit the magazine and join Maje. It is understood she will work beside Maje founder and artistic director Judith Milgrom on style and image matters.


Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. bought a 65 percent stake in SMCP last year, and is gearing up for a global expansion drive, as reported.
