STAR TREK: “This is my first,” Karen Elson said, plunked down in the front row of the Alexander Wang show on Saturday night. Editors, retailers and socials trickled in, many flustered from having just ditched their black cars and jogging the rest of the way to the venue, fearing the insufferable traffic jam outside would make them miss the show. “I get to watch a bunch of shows but I walk in just a couple,” Elson continued. “I mean, I’m 35 after all.”

On the other side of the room, Zoë Kravitz took her seat. Kanye West, who was on the seating chart, was a no show. Further down the row, actor Sam Worthington — an early arrival — sat comfortably, attentive to girlfriend Lara Bingle. “Getting here? It was quite easy. We’re in TriBeCa so it was a hop, skip and a jump to Brooklyn,” the actor said. Though he’d only met Wang recently after they sat next to each other on a plane, Worthington has become quite a fan. “He’s at the forefront, man,” the actor said. “I’m gonna support anyone who’s at the forefront.”
