FASHION SENSE: Pauline Ducruet, Princess Stephanie of Monaco’s daughter, has inherited a taste for fashion. The eighth in line to the Monegasque throne just began her second year studying at Istituto Marangoni in Paris.

“It’s my first year attending the shows,” said the aspiring fashionista, sitting front row at Alexis Mabille. “Otherwise, I’m just quietly studying.”

Wearing an oyster mushroom-shaped hat of her own design, artist Marie Beltrami also had fashion on her mind. Beltrami revealed that she has just designed a collection of bags using underpants and bras called “Slypes,” an exhibition of which will debut this weekend at Le Purgatoire in Paris’ 10th arrondissement. “I was on vacation with Vincent Darré and Elie Top, and they kept joking about ‘Slypes de bain’ [a play on the French for swimming trunks], and that gave me the idea,” she explained.

Lilou Fogli, meanwhile, said she was back at work after recently giving birth and is writing the screenplay for a romantic comedy with her husband, actor Clovis Cornillac. Fogli, who is an old friend of Mabille’s, enthused about the dress the designer created for her August wedding. “It was sublime,” she gushed.

Joining her front row were French actresses Audrey Marnay, Delphine McCarty and Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre.
