A STITCH IN TIME: Having worn costumes designed by Christian Lacroix for her recent performance in George Balanchine’s “Le Palais de Cristal” at the Paris National Opera, Marie-Agnès Gillot will be donning something even more exclusive for her next performance. The prima ballerina, who was among guests at the Alexis Mabille haute couture show in Paris on Monday, has collaborated with Swiss artist Olivier Mosset for a show titled “Irrévérence(s)” that will run from July 18 to 24 as part of Avignon’s famed arts festival. “We created a work of art with Olivier Mosset, an artistic painting on a canvas, that will serve as my costume, and Alexis kindly helped me to sew this work of art,” she said.

Actor Raphaël Personnaz and celebrity pastry chef Christophe Michalak also attended the show.
