GROCERY LIST: Who doesn’t enjoy tabloid shots of celebrities at the supermarket? At the Chanel show, staged amid a mock supermarket, the aisles were teeming with the likes of Keira Knightley, Rihanna, Melanie Griffith, Vanessa Paradis and Clémence Poésy. “I can’t actually see from all the cameras, so I’ll have to wait until the show, and then I’ll be able to shop better,” Knightley said as she arrived to take her seat.

The British actress recently attended the Sundance Film Festival premiere of “Laggies,” a dark comedy costarring Chloë Grace Moretz. While her character, Megan, struggles to grow up, Knightley was only too glad to leave her teens behind. “I didn’t like being a teenager at all, but I think the character — well, you’ll see it hopefully when it comes out — it’s more about that kind of, what is it, the Y Generation crisis of not knowing what to do with your life,” she explained.

A straw poll among the actresses in attendance revealed a common obsession with cheese. “This is Paris, after all,” argued Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, who marveled at the hundreds of mock products on display. “They must have spent hours and hours imagining everything, and at the same time, there isn’t enough time to take it all in. It’s incredible.”

Laura Neiva was taken aback to find real food on display. “Oh my God, it’s crazy, it’s really real. It smells like cheese here,” she exclaimed. The Brazilian actress was in town for a photo shoot for Vogue Brasil. “It’s like a Mademoiselle Chanel of the Seventies,” she said of the project.

“I love to shop for food because I love to cook,” said Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, who gravitates to specialist delicatessens in north London to “look at jars.” Vikander will soon start filming “Testament of Youth,” a First World War drama based on the 1933 memoirs of writer and feminist Vera Brittain, plus “Tulip Fever,” a romance with the backdrop of the risky tulip market in the 17th century.

Michelle Rodriguez was not on the official guest list, but turned out to accompany Cara Delevingne, who opened the show. “It’s so crazy,” she said of the show set. Moments later, the “Fast and Furious” star pulled her black beanie down all the way over her head, in an apparent effort to go unnoticed.
