PEACE SIGN: Photographers muscled for position as stars battled their way to their seats at Christian Dior on Friday, including the house’s glamazon Charlize Theron. The statuesque actress, who also wears the hat of U.N. ambassador, said she plans to head home to her native South Africa at the end of the month. “I’ll be there for a peace conference and then I am heading to the Congo,” said Theron, whose latest flick, “The Burning Plain,” is set for release soon. Actress Mylène Jampanoï confirmed she’s just re-signed her contract for Dior Parfums. The latest campaign sees her enveloped in white sheets with snow falling, she said. Jampanoi’s preparing for her role as Caroline Von Paulus, better known as Bambou, Serge Gainsbourg’s second wife, in the upcoming Gainsbourg biopic. “It’s great playing someone who is still around, I’ve met her a few times,” Jampanoi said. “She’s really changed compared to what has been said about her. She was a junkie you know and of course she’s not any more.” Eva Green said she starts work on a new movie Monday. “It’s called ‘Womb,’” she said, helpfully miming a pregnant belly over the din. Shooting takes place in Germany, and the film’s director is Hungarian Benedek Fliegauf.
