WALKING THE WALK: The habitual socialite contingent, including Bianca Brandolini d’Adda, Elettra Wiedemann, Leigh Lezark, Eugenie Niarchos and Ulyana Sergeenko, lined the front row of the Giambattista Valli show Monday afternoon.
On the other side of the room, actress Angie Harmon reminisced about her modeling past. “Once you’ve walked these [shows], you never, ever stop,” she said, hastening to add that these days she is more likely to strut her stuff in the privacy of her own home. “I do a really fantastic Versace walk in my living room every chance I get!”
Diana Widmaier-Picasso disclosed that she and Didier Ottinger of the Centre Pompidou are to co-curate “Picasso and Contemporary Art,” scheduled for fall 2015 at a yet-to-be-determined museum. Picasso said the exhibition is to trace the impact her grandfather Pablo Picasso had on art made since the Sixties, particularly in the U.S. and Europe, but also other far-flung countries.
