CLICKS AND CUTS: Jennifer Hudson was among entertainers clogging the front row at Givenchy on Sunday night. “I am getting ready to tour some,” she said, explaining it will be for the “I Remember Me” album and with a possible December start. Alongside her work as a Weight Watchers’ spokesmodel, Hudson is acting. “I should start filming very soon,” she said, of the movie “Mister and Pete.” Hudson described her part as “a single mom who’s a heroin addict. So it’s a very dramatic role, which I’m very curious to try because it’s quite heavy.”
Liv Tyler has been multitasking, too. “I just made a little film this summer, called ‘Robot and Frank’ with Frank Langella and Susan Sarandon,” she said, explaining it’s “a very sweet story” about Langella’s relationship with a robot that comes to life and helps take care of him. Tyler plays the role of Langella’s daughter.
“I just did a comedy with Sylvie Testud,” said Juliette Binoche, referring to a movie called “La vie d’une autre” that’s due out in February. “I was playing a woman waking up and forgetting 15 years of her life. So she’s discovering, finally, what her life became. It’s kind of frightening, but funny at the same time.”
Binoche said she and Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci — who dressed her for the Cannes Film Festival — had met several times, and “we clicked.”
Ciara, Kanye West, Jared Leto and Naomi Campbell also took in the show.
