SPOOKY SHOW: Both on and off the runway, the crowd was as eclectic as ever at Jean Paul Gaultier’s vampire-themed fall couture show in Paris on Wednesday afternoon.

Bearded Austrian drag queen Conchita Wurst, who won the Eurovision Song Contest earlier this year, walked the catwalk in an imperial-style gown with his winning song “Rise Like a Phoenix” as part of the soundtrack. Wurst certainly was not out of place next to the series of models styled like Monster High dolls.

“We don’t know whether we’ll get out of here alive,” quipped French starlet Aïssa Maïga, sitting front row.

French reality TV star Nabilla Benattia, who is trying to break into acting, got the flashbulbs popping, but was less vocal than her reputation when it came to discussing her next project. “It’s very, very secret,” she said. “Almost certainly cinema or television.”

Louise Bourgoin, the face of Kenzo’s next fragrance, said she would begin filming a movie with Belgian director Lucas Belvaux in November, in which she will star alongside Nicole Garcia.

Baz Lurhmann, Catherine Martin, Fawaz Gruosi, Farida Khelfa and CL also took in the show.
