MINUTE MAID: A flash flood of VIPs who scooted into the Louis Vuitton show for its prompt 10 a.m. start, was greeted by liveried maids proffering vodka shots and potatoes with caviar. Having successfully negotiated the cobbled courtyard of the Louvre museum in her gray high-heeled ankle boots, Emma Stone opted instead for a glass of champagne. The actress was taking a break from filming in Los Angeles for “The Amazing Spider-Man,” in which she plays love interest Gwen Stacy. “My part is not incredibly physical, although I did get to swing around in a harness a little bit the other day, which was very interesting and very bruising,” she said. This summer will see her star in “Crazy, Stupid, Love” in addition to “The Help,” based on the novel by Kathryn Stockett. Adapting a bestseller can be daunting, but it turns out director Tate Taylor has known Stockett since childhood. “It feels like it’s the truest it can be to the book,” Stone said.

Gong Li, fresh off the release of the Mandarin-language remake of “What Women Want,” revealed the hit film was slightly tweaked for Asian audiences. “In China we have very strong family values, so this is something we added into the movie,” she explained. The actress and L’Oréal brand ambassador is taking her time reading scripts for her next project. “Whether it’s Hollywood or Chinese, I haven’t decided,” she said.

Alex Pettyfer said his alien character in the upcoming sci-fi thriller “I Am Number Four” has powers including telekinesis – not his preferred supernatural skill. “I always want to know what people are thinking,” he said. It turns out that Mary-Kate Olsen, his co-star in the upcoming “Beastly,” gave him a piece of her mind for free. “Stop wearing the same clothes,” recalled Pettyfer. “That was the advice.”
