SPIRITED MOVE: Louis-Marie de Castelbajac’s upscale whiskey line is ready for tasting. “We are launching at Colette in three weeks,” Castelbajac said Sunday at Maxime Simoens. “I developed a special edition for them, a box of 50 bottles, all numbered. But they will also sell my regular 20-year Armagnac.”

The young nobleman said he’s keeping production small for now, selling at pivotal places in Paris, such as the Left Bank department store Le Bon Marché, Harry’s Bar, The Experimental Cocktail Club and Le Meurice.

Xingtong Yao came to the show with her stylist, who said she has a new film with Jackie Chan due out mid-October.

French actress Mélanie Thierry said she is exploring new genres. After starring in the Palme d’Or winning lesbian love story “La Vie d’Adèle” and the fantasy thriller “L’autre vie de Richard Kemp,” the actress, who is pregnant with her second child, has the science fiction film “The Zero Theorem” ready for release.
